Project Monitoring

Independent monitoring of construction and asset-based projects on behalf of lenders, investors and owners.

Overview

We act as independent monitor on construction and asset-based projects, reporting to the lender, investor, or owner on progress, cost, and quality against the agreed programme. Monitoring covers drawdown certification, variation control, and early identification of the issues that typically drive overrun. Over the past 20 years our teams have delivered monitoring services across a wide range of construction types.

Our Approach

We review the project before drawdown begins — programme, budget, contract structure, consultant appointments and planning position — then report at agreed intervals against that baseline. Certification is evidence-based: we verify work in place rather than accepting valuations at face value, and flag divergence early enough for it to be addressed.

Construction Types We Monitor

Over the past 20 years our teams have delivered monitoring services including:

•Housing units
•Apartment blocks
•Hotels and restaurants
•Offices and administrative buildings
•Hospitals and medical clinics
•Shopping galleries and malls
•Fun parks and playgrounds
•Aquaparks, SPA and resorts
•Industrial depots and production units
•Gas stations and gas networks

Reporting

Initial appraisal report followed by periodic progress reports covering works in place, expenditure against budget, programme position, variations, and the residual risk to completion.
